AFRM took home the award for ‘Practice of the Year’ at the TAL Business Partnership Program Dinner on Wednesday 31 August. Mark Hoskin, AFRM Director, was there to collect the award on behalf of the company.

“We are thrilled to receive this award to be recognised for the commitment we make to good practice within an industry which is often under scrutiny,” said Mr Hoskin.

“We are proud of the service we provide to our clients and also the strong relationships we have with our insurers. We believe this helps to ensure our clients will be treated fairly at claim time.”

The dinner, which was held at The Westin Hotel Sydney, was about celebrating partnerships, networking and acknowledging high achievers within TAL's Business Partnership Program.

The ‘Practice of the Year’ award recognises fantastic contributions from practices using the following criteria:

  • Contributions and involvement in the TAL business partnership community
  • Unique business developments
  • Feedback from the advisers, clients and TAL business
  • Business growth
  • Client lapse rate

“AFRM was founded in the late 90’s and are risk only specialists. They have near 10 million inforce with TAL and have been long time supporters and key contributors to our growth,” said Mitchell Ramsbotham, TAL Sales Development Manager for NSW/ACT.

“AFRM encapsulates what the industry looks for in an advisory business.”
