Why do we Retreat?

The first AFRM Retreat was held in 2005 at a time when the business expanded out of Newcastle with the opening of a North Sydney office. With a geographical spread of staff the Directors felt the need for all staff to come together once a year in order to share AFRM’s vision, learnings, business processes, experiences and team work to grow a business with the right principles and values.

AFRM visits Hunter Medical Research Institute

AFRM has proudly supported HMRI for over 10 years and is part of their new ‘Circle of Strength’ group of supporters. This month our staff were taken on a tour of the amazing HMRI Building located behind John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, to see how our support helps medical research.

Mai-Wel thank AFRM for a great day of volunteering

Mai wel presentation photoOn Tuesday 8 March 38 AFRM staff members took part in a volunteer day at seven Mai-Wel shared living homes across Maitland, which are for people living with a disability. Our staff installed garden beds and provided gardening services to the homes, as well as met and interacted with some of the residents.
