Daniel Musumeci's First Claim

To help celebrate Dan’s 20 years with AFRM, we asked him to reflect on defining moments from his early career. One that still stands out is managing his first insurance claim and his visit to the client in hospital after a subarachnoid haemorrhage.
The client, recovering from surgery that had temporarily removed part of his skull, was a husband, father of young children, and successful business owner. While the trauma insurance payout couldn’t change what had happened, it provided crucial financial stability.
The experience left a lasting impression and shaped Dan’s decision to specialise in risk advice.
