Special Communique - 5 August 2021

Updated: Aug 5, 2021

Notice confirming continuation of AFRM service during snap

COVID-19 lockdown in Newcastle

As you may be aware, Newcastle and the Hunter region has been ordered to enter a snap COVID-19 lock down from 5pm tonight until 12:01am Friday 13 August 2021.

As we have previously advised, AFRM is continuing to provide our clients, referral partners and other stakeholders with the seamless continuation of service you have come to expect from us, while complying with all state and federal COVID-19 rules and regulations.

The purpose of this communique is to advise that, the majority of AFRM’s head office team in Newcastle has already been working remotely in recent weeks and will continue to do so until the current work from home rule is lifted.

Over the past 18 months, we have become quite adept at working seamlessly while adapting to fluid pandemic workplace requirements in all of our offices.

AFRM’s management team is monitoring the situation daily and adjusting our work practices as required to meet the challenges of this highly fluid situation.

However, we wanted to assure you that you can continue to expect the highest levels of service from us.

Our phone reception service will continue unaffected and operate normally. You can continue to contact us by telephone via 1300 364 341 (or directly to your adviser’s mobile phone) or email.

AFRM also has robust information technology and document management systems accessible to all employees via remote virtual private network (VPN) access ensuring we can maintain high levels of service, support, and security to our clients at all times.

We wish that all of our clients, referral partners, team members and other stakeholders stay well, take appropriate COVID-19 and, above all, continue to be patient with and compassionate towards others at all times.

Sincerely,

Rob Vitnell

Managing Director AFRM
