We wanted to share a recent success story that highlights the value of working as a team with our professional colleagues. Together, we each contribute to solve the financial puzzle for clients.

A long-time partner (accountant) sent us an SMS, to refer their client for a review of insurance policies. First, we met with the client. He came on crutches, which naturally led to a chat about what happened. His story is like so many we hear - it was an unlucky accident, but nothing major and seemingly not worth worrying about. However, our expertise identified a case for a claim, which led to a successful Specific Injury Benefit payment. Two weeks later $33,000 was paid to them.

Getting back to the other aim of our first meeting, we discussed the client's circumstances and objectives whilst also reviewing the client's existing policies. We determined that their existing policies were mostly appropriate with only minor adjustments required. With so much already achieved, we will continue to work with the client to ensure their policies remain appropriate for their ongoing and ever-changing circumstances. This includes potential for ongoing claims, as well as exploring all available insurance solutions that provide good value for money. It's all part of our relationship-based approach.

For our accounting colleague, a quick SMS to simply refer to us has helped the mutual client with financial protection. Perhaps more importantly, the client has peace of mind knowing they have a team behind them, including AFRM's expertise, experience, scale, and winning record in claims paid to clients - exceeding $360million.

Remember it isn't just those who suffer ill health or accident who need our help. A review of insurance policies is important those undertaking changes in lifestyle, family, debt financing, or employment circumstances. If any of this applies to you, reach out and let us know. If this applies to someone you know, you could be doing everyone a big favour by recommending our help.
